Mr. Syed Haider Jafri belongs to a well-known Syed (Jafri, Turab Shahi Gardezi) family. His Ancestors were from the descendants of Hazoor Shah Yusuf Gardez (R.A), a very renowned saint of Multan. His father Professor Dr. Syed Sarfraz Hussain Jafri is an authority in Islamic studies, who served in Government Collage University for almost 30 years; and when he got his retirement he was principal Ulama academy of the federal department of religious affairs, government of Pakistan. His Grandfather Syed Mumtaz Jafri (late) known as “S M Jafri”, was a high ranking bureaucrat and renowned saint. Syed Mumtaz Jafri was the son of Peer Syed Barkat Ali Shah, who was a renowned saint of Syedpur in district Narowal. Peer Syed Barkat Ali Shah’s father peer Syed Qaim Ali Shah was also a high ranking bureaucrat in Indian civil services during the British rule in India. He was teaching land system to the commissioners and deputy commissioners in Indian Civil Services Academy. He was also a renowned saint.

Peer Syed Barkat Ali Shah’s and his father Peer Syed Qaim Ali Shah’s Shrines are in Syedpur. Hazrat Baba Ji Naseeb Ali Shah of Jalalpur Jattan, Gujrat is the first cousin of peer Syed Barkat Ali Shah.

Mr. Syed Haider Jafri’s maternal grand fathers are from the Gilani family of “Sidhora sharif “in india (Ancestors of Hazrat peer Syed Mehar ALI Shah of Golra Sharif Islamabad).

Hazrat peer Syed Jamaat Ali shah of Ali pur syedan in Narowal District are meternal grandfathers of his father Professor Dr. Syed Sarfraz Hussain Jafri.
As such, Syed Haider Jafri belongs to a very well-known and renowned Sufi Family; he was born with the seed of spiritualism in his heart. When Qalandar Baba Makhdoom Syed Safdar Ali Shah Bukhari (known as Kakian Wali Sarkar) put his deep eye on his personality, he trained and groomed Mr. Syed Haider Jafri under his kind control for a period of almost 10 years. During these years of learning, he went through so many spiritual experiments and got blessed. One of these experiments is the healing system of Surah-Al-Rehman (The Ultimate Remedy).

During these 10 years of spiritual training, he also got blessings of Makhdoom Syed Sher Ali Shah Qalandar Bukhari of Qusur and Syed Mauj Darya Bukhari of Lahore (The Well Known Saints). During these 10 Years of Training Session, he performed some regular spiritual duties on the Dargah Shareef of Syed Ali Hujveri (R.A.) known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bukhsh. Mr. Syed Haider Jafri has almost 6 years’ experience in electronic media.
He had worked with various TV Channels like Dunya TV, Royal TV, News one TV, Koh e Noor TV, Aruj TV, Shalimar Recording Company (Radio, TV) as Anchor, Host, Guest, Analyst and panelist in designated shows and various project based programs.

He Worked in Aruj TV, as Host/Anchor from 1st November 2011 to February 2014, hosted More than 250 episodes at Aruj Tv a program named “Sitaray Aur Shakhsiat”.  He also served as media and zodiac consultant for a long time. He introduced new techniques, concepts and ideas regarding entertainment and programming.
